Jewish holidays were all legal holidays. <BR/><BR/>What I learned was, when you're part of the majority, you never have to think about the minorities in your midst. It's not malicious, it's just that the majority culture is so pervasive, and you're a part of it. You never have to put yourself in the other person's shoes. <BR/><BR/>I think it's the same thing with Proposition 8.
