The last couple weeks of “life on the town” has consisted of the following:
Four baseball games;
The San Francisco Giants are not playing well. They are in third place in their division.
Three operas, each one better then the last:
* The Maid of Orleans (Joan of Arc) – Tchaikovsky
* The Marriage of Figaro – Mozart
* Madama Butterfly – Puccini
Two obscure musicals. Both were interesting productions:
* john & jen - Andrew Lippa, Tom Greenwald
* Happy End - Bertolt Brecht, Kurt Weill
and One high school graduation!

I'm pretty busy myself, but you guys take the cake!
Congratulations a day or so late on your anniversary. We're winning this struggle for same-sex marriage, y'know. In large part because guys like you are so steadfast in being yourselves.
I am one of your greatest fans.
Cheers.
Belated Happy Anniversary! i'm so happy for you and for all the other gay couples who are making a go of it with families of their own, in spite of a lot of obstacles being thrown in our paths.
I almost got to design "Happy End" several years ago. I'd done a lot of preliminary research and sketching and then circumstances forced the director to choose another project. I was struck by how close the plot is to "Guys and Dolls" a couple of decades later.
