Here are a couple amusing YouTube videos I saw this last month.
The first one is from the 1974 Tony Awards and features Charles Nelson Reilly doing a comic bit about the shows he starred in on Broadway. He had an amazing track record of shows in the 1960's. He usually played side-kick or character roles. He started off with "Bye Bye Birdie" in 1960; then "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying" in 1961; then "Hello Dolly!" in 1964. Only the fourth musical he mentions in the routine, "Skyscraper," I am not familiar with.
I was too young to see him perform on stage. However, I remember him best for his campy on-screen persona on TV. He appeared as a regular on "The Dean Martin Show," and was a frequent guest on "The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson" and had multiple guest appearances on a number of TV series including "McMillan & Wife"; "Here's Lucy"; "Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In"; "The Ghost and Mrs. Muir"; "The Love Boat"; and "Love, American Style." He also filmed a ton of game shows too.

This video, called "Dads in Briefs" is an ad for BGH Air Conditioners. I think it is very funny. I am not saying if this ever happened to me.

CNR also had a role in an episode of The X-Files, which led to a follow-up of the same role in the spin-off Millenium. Very odd character he played in those shows.
