We spent the Memorial Day weekend at the family beach house. Our special guests were four people who did the English Coast to Coast hike with us last summer. We couldn't spend the whole time just eating and drinking. We did do a couple short hikes at Elkhorn Slough National Estuarine Research Reserve and Point Lobos State Reserve.

You know guys, I think this might be the first time I have left a comment here. Don't ask me why it has taken this long, because I really enjoy your blog. I can't even say why THAT is exactly except that there is just something about it I find relaxing and refreshing... especially when I am feeling wound up. Maybe its just that you guys come across as someone I would really like if I knew you in person... not sure. Just wanted you to know I really enjoy your blog and sorry that it took me to long to find it!
OK - I'm jelous of that house.
